Upsetting
The steel upsetting process is our primary activity, the one that saw us established in 1980.
Today, the upsetting department consists of three lines:
– a 4.5″ robotized induction total heating automated line (950 Ton)
– a 5” gas total heating automated line (1250 Ton)
– a robotized induction partial heating automated line (theoretical capacity 1600 Ton).
This last line, in use since 2016, operates by means of a patented process and guarantees several production advantages.
In 2021, we introduced a new press and induction furnace in the upsetting department. This has made it possible to expand the range of blanks to larger diameters and lengths.
